Battlefield: Bad Company

Has anyone played it yet?

I heard from a friend that it sucks, and you will get bored after 3 days. Hearing that, I decided not to purchase it. Then another friend comes along, tells me that he just tried the BFBC demo, and loved it, and wants me to play too. So I download the demo, play it, and wow, this is a definite buy. This is awesome! Everything is destructible. It plays like CoD4, with a different feel.

So, I will be getting Gold for sure. Wow. It's like a mix of WarRock and CoD4.

What do you guys think of the game?

The fact that every wall is destructible isn't a big deal to me. I tried the demo and I spent a few minutes blowing up wall, and got bored. The grphics are great though, and weapons are welll balanced, but the controls are just god awful. Very hard to drive.

It's a 'meh' game honestly. If you want a game with WONDERFUL dectuctible environments, and easy controls, and fun gameplay, try the Red Faction Gorilla beta, the destructible environments in that are 10 x better then BF: BC

I have it and its AWESOME, it has hard achievements( At least 3 of em ), and sweet maps.
Note: dont buy the gold edition.
Dog tags are fun too, and you can be proud of them.
And weapons are indeed balanced, Sniper rifle is not a horrible rape weapon anymore.

Got in on the beta. Was crap imo, character moves to slow, sniped constantly from **** knows where cause theres no means of telling where he is or seeing him, spawn system blew, vehicle's where a pain in the **** to drive and while everything can be blown up..i somehow didn't feel very satisfied from doing it so that's always a bummer.

Isn't for everyone i suppose.

Thats how I felt in the demo. The weapons are balanced, everything but the sniper xD

I have it and it was fun at first but got boring quick. Id give it a miss if I were you, maybe rent it at most.

Yea I'd have to say the same for me. I got to the highest rank and it got boring.

I have to admit, not EVERYTHING is destructible, but hey, if I can blow a house apart, it's enough to kill my enemy.
Controls are nice, it's **** easy to drive, wtf are you talking about? Used left trigger for acceleration?
Well, myopinion seems to be biased, because I've played bf2, but it is a good game, and like any other game it has its flaws.

The camera was god awful on vehicals. I couldn't see much, most importantly i couldn't see what was attacking me and kept randomly blowing up lol

I played the demo, looked good blowing up walls and making your on holes.

I tried the demo, and I strongly disliked it. I don't like FPS games that are so strongly vehicle based. I only ever got destroyed by a vehicle or killed by some unknown sniper every time. Destructible environments, so what? When everything else sucks, I could care less that I can blow down a wall. I'll stick with CoD4 for now.

I fired up the demo again, and I realised not all the wall are destuctible, what? Your main theme is destructible walls and yet half of them aren't even destruible? Wow.

In RF: G EVERYTHING is destuctible, and the building tip over and everything. The game has GOOD destructible eveironments.

It's a beta, and it hard to find a match now... Ill see if I can find the link.

Apparently beta is done or soemthing. They'll have a demo fr it eventually. In all honesty though. probably THE best game with destructible evironments.
