I hear it has cut scenes nearing the 60 minute mark. o.0

Never been a big fan of MGS so it's a bit late for me to jump on board really, unless the story is completely unrelated. Certainly sparked my interest though, i admit.

Ah, reminds me Xenosaga, with hour and a half long cutscenes. Great game.

I was thinking about time somebody posted a topic about it, beat the game this Saturday on Solid Normal in 17 hours. I was bursting in tears during the ending  It was f-ing amazing. I am replaying through the game again on The Boss Extreme, trying to never get into alert phase so I can get Stealth Camo.

Kojima is Japanese. Japanese are crazy nationalists. The game by itself is really anti-Microsoft. Otacon and Sunny (they help and assist Snake on his missions tech wise) both use Apple computers. Naomi Hunter uses a Sony Ericson cell phone. Oh yeah and this

The average gamer wont sit and watch the 45 minute cutscenes. only the real hardcore player. although with such long cutscenes its almost like getting a game and a movie :D

He made the metal gear games, including 4. Oh and the whole switching discs video was mocking the older MGS games, not the 360. ;]

Ah, makes sense. I just typed in Kojima on Google and it brought me to a Metal Gear site, so I assumed it was a company.

I know from original MGS1 for PS1, but still Kojima keeps on praising Blu-Ray's dual layer disc big space.

Thats actually towards one the old MGS4 games, where you had to switch the disk. Its not pointing towards the 360 or Wii :D

Did you read my post above or you instantly hit the reply button?

Quote from the video itself as follows

Quote:
Huh? Oh wait we're on PS3 system! It's a Blu-Ray Disc. Dual-layered, too - no need to swap.

Kojima was trying to refer to to original MGS1 for PS1 where after second battle with Sniper Wolf you had to insert the 2nd disk.

only reason otacon's ,and every other computer used in the game, has an apple logo is because hideo kojima had to work out a deal to get the ipod item into the game legally. so the rest of the computers used in game are all apple products as advertisements in that deal.

great game , and the cutscene being long is good the installing after each act in the game was more of a pain watching snake chain smoke almost makes u want to light 1 up urself while u wait the up to 3 minutes for it to install the next act's missions qand cutscenes. gfx & story wise it was awesome best bit of story telling in a game i've seen in ages brought all the lil plots and sides together for a nice closeing to the series.

if it's your first play thru and u want to know the story of it all then u'll sit thru teh long cutscenes. they are well worth watching.
