A LOT of people use it, when i last played it was quickly becoming the only gun people used and when it starts beating a sniper or even assault at long range it's just far to strong for what it is. COD4 just got on my nerves by the end of it, so many luck kills.
Didn't know the P90 was used too much in multiplayer, but whenever I see one in the campaign I try to snag it. The only thing that really sets it apart is the mag, nearly 1.5x as many bullets as any other assault rifle.

This is the point. The P90 isn't an assault rifle, it's classed under SMG but i can understand how you might think it's an assault. As i said, It's far to strong for what it is. XD Tone the range down on it at least.
This, right now is what people do with P90s:
The idea behind COD4 was you scope, scoping benefits and rewards. That guy doesn't even have a decent scope purely because he doesn't need it. XD He scoped ONCE and that was against someone not looking, every other time - Spray Spray Spray. No aiming, no skill, i don't even see how he was having fun it was just spraying. XD And people, a LOT of people just stick to p90 and do that for hours on end and i hate it, so much so that I've stopped playing COD4.
I don't wanna turn this into a IHATECOD4 thread but still, i had to correct that one.

I will agree that the P90 is a bullet hose, but I honestly haven't seen anyone in the last month use a P90 in Team Deathmatch, Hardcore TD, HQ, and Search and Destroy. Maybe I'm just lucky...

G3 > P90 on hardcore TD. red dot, stopping power and youre sorted. one hit kill where-ever, with pinpoint accuracy and huge range.
but the p90 is pretty **** overpowerwed, and the range it SAYS it has it nowhere near what it acvtually has. just makes it more of a challenge as youre ranking up
