Xbox 360 Games

So im buying a 360 this weekend, finally got my yearly check. Im buying the Pro Bundle with the two free games. But i need some Game recommendations. So far this is my list of the games i want...

Assassin's Creed
Halo 3

Definitely get Halo 3 and Call of Duty 4, both amazing games. Be sure to get Live though, you get 1 free month of subscription with your new 360.

Assassin's Creed and Bioshock are both excellent games aswell, but in a different light. As both are single player and have very little replay value, I would actually suggest renting them, or buy them intending to trade them in at a later date. Not to cast anything against them as they're both very fun, there's just not much replay.

Looking at Kronic's titles, just get the best sports games that you like... most new 360's come with Forza 2 (and some other weird superhero game that I haven't touched) so you might already be getting that.

Get Gears if you want I guess, it's a pretty good game but to be honest the multiplayer isn't that great. You could wait for Gears 2... or go ahead and get it if you have the money.

Just my opinions

EDIT: Almost forgot, Guitar Hero 3 though it is expensive. Or check out Rock Band, I don't know too much about that.

if youre getting halo 3 id get cod4 too. its better, on live and on single player. imo by a long shot.

creed is good and very long, but dont rush through it, take your time and do ALL the side quests first before finishing the assassination on that bit. it gets a little same-y after a while but its still an awesome game.

guitar hero 2 or 3 are both great games if you like music.

dead rising is possibly the best single player game ive ever played, although its got a typical zombioe infested mall storyline, theres loads of twists in it which make it great, plus its got a LOT of achievements for you to work at and its got so many ways to complete the game its just amazing.

gears, although a bit dead after halo and cocd4, is still a must have. its great, third person tactical shooter. bit of a change from the typical fps that i mainly play on live.

crackdown is fun for a while, then it starts getting boring after the get 5* in everything. although imo if you can afford it, buy it

nfs most wanted is the best nfs game ive played yet, and i love it, and its also great for 2 player too. same as crackdown for this, buy it if you can afford it

Get the Orange Box. For $60 you will get Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1, Half-Life 2: Episode 2, Portal, and Team Fortress 2.

Episode 2 and Team Fortress 2 are old? They both came out this year. -.-

The Half-Life series will perpetually remain a classic.

If you like racers, PGR4 and Forza 2 are definately worth getting.

Call of Duty 4 is by far my favourite game on 360 .. Maybe on anything actually.

I really must be one of the only people that really didn't like halo. :roll:

I'm with you on not liking Halo.
