Spoiler for CoD4:

That part when you wake up in a nuclear wasteland...It's amazing. Nukes are bad.

I usually don't play through many fps single player games, I just play multiplayer. This game was really fun though, I've started going through it again on veteran.

Multi is really fun as well, although I'm not that high ranked yet. I just unlocked the G3, and can't believe they added they gave it semi-automatic only. I guess it's not something you see very often in shooters, they usually at least give them selective fire. I tried it and I think I'll stay away from it for now :|

I was able to do the FNG in about 17 seconds, I don't see the point in doing it more to get an even lower time.

I just stuck this game back in and did some more vet, i gotta rant a bit:

IW theres making a game hard and challenging and then theres being stupid. The fact i flank and get shot the moment i pop out - mysteriously when they should have no idea I'm there. Or the fact I'm sniping in a field and being hit non-stop when in reality I shouldn't be that easy to spot means you've slacked on the AI and instead just upped everything they already poses to make it harder.

Which sure, works, but it throws tactics, skill and intelligence out the window and leaves 90% of the game down to luck. If you try doing it enough times eventually you WILL get through on pure luck.

Rather irritating but i got past a few more levels anyway.

i found that. they focus you every time on veteran aswell. and how the hell do they get so many renades and rpgs? and why do they make them shoot rpgs in little sheds lol...

Yes, lol I haven't tried multiplayer yet. Singleplayer is epic. :D

I like to go Rambo in singleplayer. SAW and shotgun FTW. :D

The only rant I have is that every enemy is a professional baseball pitcher who can throw grenades right at your feet before you can get to cover. I died more of grenades than bullets. Other than that, they are stupid as hell and sacrifice their lives like it was dirt.

Seems cars and grenades killed me more than bullets too. The enemies do tend to sacrifice their lives, but they are terrorists (technically).

I haven't tried multiplayer yet either, but I've completed the singleplayer multiple times. Veteran, and every other mode complete, along with a veteran timed campaign thing...All I can say, is I wish the stupid friendly npcs would learn to *not* shoot you if you're standing in front of them. ****ers have killed me a few times now, usually long past since the last checkpoint #-o

I hate how the only cheats in Call of Duty 4 have to be unlocked by replaying most of the levels to look for "enemy intelligence" stored in laptop computers.

The only worthwhile cheat is infinite ammo, IMHO.

Bah, timeslow kicks ***. Seriously. You can move at normal speeds (pivioting, getting ready for the shot, but not reloading/switching weapons or moving) so you can really get some clean headshots off. 26/30 intel atm, not sure if I want to figure out which intel I don't have #-o

If you want a real challenge, go try the Mile High Club on Vet. Man, that took hours to beat. Broke a few things on the way as well.

HAHA that place is hella fun when you turn on the very fast game setting and infinite ammo. go so fast but it's a blast to play

I particularly liked the sniper mission where you are so far away from Zakhaev that even the Coriolis Effect can put your bullet off track.

Then we had to run like hell. It felt exhilirating.
