Oh yes i did forget about blood elfs. I see your point. Even i avoided the male blood elfs, i went female cause i just couldn't create a character that didn't look like he was batting for the other team.

In my opinion (600+ hours played on one character in WoW) WoW is more team play based. Okay, that means the teamwork and social things are really nicely done in WoW, but that's also it's biggest cons. You get nothing done on your own in the end game. If your PvP partner or Main tank in raiding guild left or something, you are really in trouble! It takes a long time and many nights raiding to get good communication and results with new partners.

Also what has already been posted on here, instead of worrying just your personal time table and real-life issues you must worry about 30+ peoples life. Some like it some don't. Myself, I prefer soloing.

either one! runescape is easier to understand and no downloads! WoW is a pain in the butt with all the download's and patches u have to do and of how confusing it can get!

I think complexity is not an issue with MMO's and simplicity is not as good feature as Jagex claims it. Sure, it will get a lot more players to try it out, but will it bring dedicated (P2P) players to the game? I really doubt.
Once you get all patched and installed for WoW it's a lot easier to continue playing and not to get bored than in RuneScape.

I chose RS. But I can't say much about WoW because I've never played it.

But if I have to choose, then RuneScape.

Neither? I suppose that's why you joined a Runescape Fansite

WoW is kind of fun for a little while, but there is a reason they only give you a short trial. You will get very bored, very quickly

WoW doesnt really get fun till you start doing raids and Battlegrounds, which Im not reall assuring you did in your 10 day trial.

as a Korean living in Korea where these MMORPGs Re taken seriously, I would have to say, for the casual gamer, runescape is much better. With easy controls, short loading, and free to play, it's overall much easier to play. However, more expensive MMORPGs such ax WoW or any other, the pros are the great graphics, more players, more diversity in weapons and customization, and also the more established clan, guild system. However, it also comes with the higher danger of addiction and a much bigger need for time than runescape, And of course the price.

So if you're just a casual gamer, I suggest you stick with runescape.
