Someone needs to gift it to Shane or Mike... Not sure on Mike's opinions, but I don't think Shane has been too impressed so far. He hasn't played to my knowledge, but if we could get him to try... I think he just might like it.

Singleplayer is free right now, right?

I think the old version is and hte new version isn't.

I still fail to see the appeal myself. A game needs a goal, you need a reason to go on. And it seems this just lacks that. Which means I'll play it for an hour and get bored. I can't see..the fun in it. Perhaps it's because i'm generally not a very creative person.

Shane seems to play to win. That's what he tells me. I don't think that you can really win in Minecraft, can you?

I've watched a few vids of it myself, but I haven't been overly impressed with it. Oh well, maybe I'll get it a bit later on to mess around with.

This is one of those games where you set your own goal. "I want to build a mine that looks like the Tokyo Skyline" doesn't seem like too bad a goal. But since you said you're not creative, just try to build boring crap, still a bunch of fun.

Ok with that said and done and in the past that thing is awesome. I can't help but feel he may have cheated to make it because i can't imagine it's easy or quick to build. But **** if it doesn't look impressive.

The best part however is what someone else pointed out in the comments: He sounds exactly like a gnome out of WOW. It's so very true.

I have no doubt he used a flying hack/cheat thingy to build the frame.

This game isn't only for building giant castles and digging. You can instead waste precious hours of your life working with the built-in logic gate system to create that.

It's actually surprisingly addicting. I started playing it for the first time last night, and before I knew it I had spent like an hour and a half building myself a random little castle.

What this doesn't show is anything subterranean. Just found a HUGE area below my main base, found a butt load of redstone, iron (yay!) and as per usual, coal. A few diamonds too; can't forget those.

i tryed the free classic version but i was really laggy is that coz of the server or my computer?
