Both ideally in the future. If I had to pick one over the other, I'd say Battlefield. CoD really needs to go away. Sometimes, when you keep beating a dead horse, there's nothing left but a bloody pulp. At that point, you should probably move on. Need I say more?

Honestly never been much of a BF player but dont have enough money to spend 60$ on each game so ill probably end up getting MW3 and regretting it but what can i say im a pretty big fan of MW2 so if they just took out the bad things such as Commando, Noob tubes, one man army, ect... then i think it should be a fun game.
o and @duke juker unfortunately COD will not be going away anytime soon as MW3 preorder sales are already crushing the records held by black ops.

I never found Battlefield to be slow-paced, probably because I'm always the guy in the action (I like the assault roles the best). That and if I REALLY want blindingly fast gameplay, there's always Counter-Strike.

If I were to buy either of them, it would probably be Modern Warfare 3 -- simply on account of the fact that I cannot play the Battlefield games for more than about 30 minutes at a time. They just do not suit my play style. I start playing one, and then I think, "oh hey, this is kinda fun". Then, about 10 minutes later, I'm ripping my hair out because of the 18 snipers and 5 tanks that comprise the entirety of the enemy team. Vehicles and camping ruin shooters for me, and Battlefield has an overabundance of both.

I'll be picking up Battlefield 3 as soon as I can. I've convinced a couple of people to get it (you guys know who you are), but I'll also eventually puck up MW3 for the campaign for some reason... Then play the multiplayer... Then do what I do with BO now and ***** about it every day.
