Super Nintendo/ N64 anyone?

It's funny you said that. I bought a new HDTV last week and I actually hooked up my N64 to it because I had the cables and the room for it. It brought back some good memories for a minute or three, it's just that oversized controller.

Yes. Nostalgia does funny things to the mind which is why i wouldn't vote for the N64 despite having some food memorys of golden eye/perfect dark/smash bro's if i went back and played it today those games would (and did in Perfect darks case) annoy me more than i enjoy them.

And the N64 controller was..just ****..No idea how i ever managed to use that thing. XD

Probably one of the best and simple controller's I have ever used. Only had part was getting good at button mashing. 8)

I don't agree with the PS3 becuase it took them about 3 years to copy the xbox 360.

Sorry, who came up with the idea of a slim console first? I can't say I care about the 360 anymore, after the **** Microsoft put me through, I have to say that the PS3 is the better "console" out there. If the game developers would stop blowing it off and actually worked on the PS3 version of a multiplatformed game, the graphics would blow away the 360. Besides, the PS3 doesn't break as often as the 360.
But then the PC comes into play. I wanted to leave it out because I wouldn't consider it a "console", but I'll talk about it anyway. The PC is only as good as the amount of money you can put into it. If you can't afford good graphics, you don't get good graphics, where as with the consoles, you basically have 3 choices. The low priced Wii with the iffy graphics, the medium priced Xbox 360 with the graphics that have basically reached their limit, or the high priced Playstation 3 that hasn't had their graphics limit tested in a long time. The PC is a console war all in it's own, which is why I kept it out.

Isn't there an "other/older option"?

Good memories on my SNES, which really introduced me to gaming back in the day. Also good memories on my PS2 which I loved playing on, and a great controller style too I might add.

However the computer will win every time in comparison. Even had more fun on my old mid 90's computer, games back then were so awesome, and compared to N64 et al, they are still awesome and I STILL play them all. :D

Shane likes to call me a "nostalgia gamer" for that reason.
