Portal Prelude is surprisingly a very well made mod that fits quite well with the story, but the announcers sounded Microsoft Sam-like.

Yeah. They definitely didn't go out and get voice actors. Still well made though, I'd agree with that.

I downloaded and beat it over the weekend and I'm now playing through again with developer commentary. Epic game. I'm in love and I have to get portal 2 when it comes out this fall. I hope that VALVe comes out with the orange box for mac, that'd be awesome and i'd buy that. I think that VALVe is probably one of the only 3 developers that come out with some games for mac, the other two being activision blizzard and EA (a.k.a. Mordor), but even then, there are games that they don't port. I also think that this could set a new trend, especially because mac market share is growing and there are plenty of switchers from pcs to macs that will want to play games that they used to have fr windows.

They won't come out with The Orange Box just for Mac, they're still in the process of just making it so you can play all of their games on the mac. So if you want, buy The Orange Box, enjoy the games on Windows, then play them on Mac when they're converted.
