Friend linked me to this and I was sure some of it was a **** take. The new race/class combinations are totally superfluous, and most of them are a complete lorelol, nature loving taurens get priest and paladins? Taurens don't worship the **** light, they worship the earthmother hence Shamans and Druids. Same deal with Dwarfs, dwarfs are incapable of learning magic in any kind of lore that features them, and suddenly blizzard gives them mages? Im not a huge lore lover and I don't understand most of it but it just seems completely out of right field they're putting out some of these class combations. Others fit obviously, the only reason humans couldn't be hunters at launch was because Blizzard only wanted to give each race 6 class choices.
Actually, all of these make sense.
Human HunterHumans are incapable of much...
Undead HunterTheres an undead Hunter also at the the Chapel in Eastern Plaguelands. Lets nto forget Sylvanas is a famous ranger.
Orc MageNothing is incapable of the Arcane magics, some are just better at it.
Night Elf MageTheres banished Night Elves that use Arcane magics, they just didn't join the High elf group and travel across the sea, so theyre seeking to rejoin the the Night Elf faction.
Dwarf MageSame as the Orc, and there also was Dwarf mages in the beta.
Blood Elf WarriorReally, why not?
Dwarf ShamanWildhammer dwarves are very shamnistic, very intune with nature. Plus the the dwarves discovering their roots in Northerend have helped that.
Tauren Paladin + Tauren PriestClicky Druid havnt worshipped the sun in a long time, light = sun so it makes sense.
Gnome PriestNothing is incapable of worshiping the light, its all choice.
Troll DruidZul'Aman anyone?
Lore nerd I is.
