I've criticized this game from the day it was announced. A world war 2 game, based around an American campaign? Arg.

But after seeing that trailer, it looks to be as action packed and greater than Call of Duty 4 and has certainly sparked my interest. This could be the first ever world war 2 game i buy. So far it's looking very impressive, perhaps tryarch will pull this off?

3 years development time, so hopefully the campaign is longer than 5 hours as well.

I'm assuming that's only the pacific campaign they showed .. it'd be pretty cool if a game put both theaters on one disc .. or maybe a game did and the name escapes me at the moment. I didn't play CoD3 so I don't know how Tryarch handles gameplay, but this will probably be rented before bought.

Bleh, not another WW2 game... There's too many to count. I personally thought the shift from 3 to 4 being to modern warfare was the best move they made. :P

I'll still be buying it though, because a large chunk of my Xbox Live friends will be.

I was extremely excited and was definitely sold on it after reading all the Previews on it when it was announced. I love the darker feel to it and the trailer only solidified my decision to buy it. I love the fact that you can actually see the people melting when you use the flamethrower.

Looks brilliant. I don't like WW2 games but that looks pretty nice. I'll have to buy it.

Or indeed any game which uses the Cry engine. Showoffs...

I havn't even played COD4 yet, but it looks cool, I guess. COD games don't interest me. Only one I played was COD2, and that was because the online play was awesome on PC.

It looks pretty good so far, but I'll make up my mind when the demo comes out.

Just looked on Wikipedia..."The title is scheduled to ship before the end of Activision's 2009 fiscal year for PC, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360.[3] It is set in the Pacific theater and Eastern front of World War II."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Call_of_Duty:_World_at_War

Check it out, definitely some information to read.
-Co-op available
-Swimming in multiplayer and singleplayer modes
-Based on the Infinity Ward COD4 engine (Should be a similar game play then)
-Flamethrower with the ability to set objects in the game on fire, where the fire will be able to propagate
-Bullets will be able to cut through thin wood and make large enough holes to climb through

I think they should of stayed with modern warfare, but this is still an amazing looking game.

if it does come out for PC would be nice to have co-op. people can finally do what they want to do. have a non idiotic teammates.

2 rifles, 1 sniper and a anti tank person.

I think it is going to be really good. I play a lot of COD3 becuase I am not allowed to play COD4. I hope COD5 won't be rated M or I can't get that one either. ARG.
