Not my type of game, it would hard for me to come up with some people to play it with me everyday since most of my friends don't live near me. Plus the price is a little too high.

You don't need three people to play it. You can play solo guitar, drums, or singing if you wanted to.

I will think about getting it once it comes out in the UK. But to be honest I don't really want to have to buy microphones and drums to get all the achievements. None of my friends like the idea either, so I might just stick with my GH3

Playing by solo is even worse.

I think rock band is an amazing game. The drums are so hard, but it's something that I need to get good at like playing the guitar. You can buy some really awesome songs from the market place. Harmonix wanted to add songs from artists they didn't have before in GH1 and GH2. But I would expect all the songs that were on the guitar heros to be in the rock band market place soon enough.

So you buy games just for achievements?

Who wants to get a game where you have to pay lots of money to get all the achievements?

Anyway, it looks like fun, but I just don't have the money atm.

Who wants to buy a game for achievements anyway?

Yea i got the game yesterday as a late xmas present. Im halfway done on career mode on hard difficulty on drums. I play drums IRL so i think this gives me a bit of an upper hand over most other ppl who try to play the drums on rockband. I figured id play it on hard and complete that b4 moving on to expert, just so i can get the feel of it. Ill do guitar next and ive beaten GH1, 2, Rock the 80's on expert and im getting close on GH3. and yes just in case you were asking i play guitar IRL too so yea. might also give me the upper hand but o well.

ANYWAY.......yea i agree its great game. too bad i have it for PS2 tho. (no downloads or online play ftl.)

Ok, I changed my mind, I'm going to get it. :P I came up with $60, but I have to wait until the weekend, becuase no stores in town sell it :(. Have to go about a half hour away to find a decent selection in games (still not too great). ](*,)

I think rock band is an awsome game and is totally worth every penny it costs. I love games like this. I also have guitar hero 3 wich is great too. If you don't have rock band yet get it A.S.A.P.
