Yes, that's why Shane got me to do the proofreading.
If you want to apply for both positions, you're more than welcome to. If you're successful, then we'll take the best looking app of the two and put you in the position of that app that you were trying out for. That's a bit ambitious of a task though, we'd much prefer you to take your time and focus on writing one top notch app rather than 2 mediocre ones. Always quality over quantity.

Confusing and seemingly contradictory!!!
I sat down and wrote them on separate days, not the same day. I put equally good work into both of them as well as proofread and revised each one closely and with care. I feel good in saying they are both good articles. My aim wasn't to write for quantity, but present two good quality articles on two separate topics for two separate positions.
