I've only just joined the forums, thought it would be polite to introduce myself a little.

So I've been a part of Runescape for over 6 years now, (I actually worked this out last night), During 1-2 of those years I actually had some VERY long breaks from the game, BUT I've had my account for that long.
I've loved this game since I was 14, I remember the first day I started playing like it was yesterday, nothing will EVER beat that feeling, a feeling that would last for 2 years. But as the game grew larger, I grew tired and things just didn't feel the same...
Despite not having the same love for the game as I did in my early teenage years, I still love the game either way, maybe not as much now, but the love is still there.
A couple of months ago after yet another long break (I take long breaks) I got back into the game, and a lot more than usual this time!
I have Runeshark & RSB&B to thank for this.

I've been listening to the RSB&B podcasts for a couple months now, I'd say about 4 months, I've not missed ONE since I started listening, Those podcasts get me through work every Monday, they've also got me into some pretty embarrassing situations whereby I would laugh so hard, my co-workers would stare at me with confusion.

Anyway, thought I'd just Procrastinate because Fishing was boring the living hell outta me!

Welcome to the community! That's a nice introduction you wrote — much more effort than most people put in.

I too often take long breaks from RuneScape. I often feel that if I didn't have this site with Shane and haven't invested so much time into it, that I wouldn't still play RS. Jagex does put lots of work into the game, but the effort we see seems to have only gone down over the years. I suspect that as time has gone on, more and more time is taken up by customer support and ensuring old content still works correctly. The game is still extremely addicting though.

Are you working towards fishing rocktail or is 90 just your goal for fishing?

I'm currently working towards Rocktail for now, then I may have a small break from fishing, I don't really wanna burn myself out, It's always a good idea to change things up

And I can already tell this community is a good one (Y)

Welcome! And yes, those podcasts have gotten me into some weird moments too, you're not the only one!
