  • A new useless quest this week.
  • A rift in the ground has opened in the lands to the west of the Digsite. All manner of bizarre noises have been escaping from it, and yet a sorrowful mother waits at the top, unafraid. She is waiting for her long lost son, Tolna, who has been missing for 25 years, and she needs your help!
  • Basically you go down and keep fighting EASY monsters until you get to the end and reach Tolna. Seeing that the picture shows mithril armour it can't be that hard.
  • Reward is 500 def, 500hp, 500coins. Of course access to the dungeon.
  • Behind the Scenes says that a second quest with a man who is carrying a bag of bones. This already sounds interesting...
  • Also wilderness teleportation portals, wilderness tag, run around hit the pillars then get a generous amount of xp they say in whatever you want.
  • With a new seasonal emote and magical eggs, we are sure you'll be happy to celebrate Easter with the kids of RuneScape
The biggest update this month will be Pest Control, a brand new player vs monster minigame. The Void Knights are a military order who have helped serve Guthix and his penchant for balance since the early 4th age...With 6 new creature types and boats visiting the portals as soon as enough volunteers are available, we are confident this game will become a firm favourite for fans of cooperative gameplay.
  • New poll on runescape site regarding knowledge base
  • Listener Questions
  • This week Apple has released an application called boot camp which enables one to install Xp on their ICBM. It is currently in public beta. I'm not sure if they will be charging for this once it is complete. It will help you with drivers and creating partitions. A good utility for a mac uesr. Now i start saving for a mac :P

Back in Windows, I got right down to business and installed a few games to put the graphics and sound support to the test. The quick and dirty verdict on performance? Most impressive. Doom 3 and Far Cry both ran smoothly with high-end graphics options turned on http://news.yahoo.com/s/pcworld/20060406/tc_pcworld/125325

  • Another IE bug this week!! This one allows a malicious website to set your browser url to something when you click a link and then it takes you to a malicious website but it sitll shows a certain url. An example of where this could be used is on those paypal scams where they get you to click their link in email. Not good. Use firefox http://secunia.com/Internet_Explorer_Address_Bar_Spoofing_Vulnerability_Test/
  • Paypal mobile goes live. A new service which will allow someone to send money from their paypal account to their own via text message on their phone. Good for paying back loans to your friends ;) Also "Even now, you can try out "Text to Buy" on PayPal's web site by supporting Amnesty International or ordering the debut Pussycat Dolls CD." Pika should try that... Definately something very interesting. http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20060406-6543.html

Aw, poor Poison.

Funny how some guy spends all this time trying to get Windows to load on a Mac and now Apple just releases a programme. :?

I think as far as the drop-trading thing goes... the rule isn't there because Jagex doesn't like drop trading, it's there to stop interaction between your own accounts. Trading items between accounts via a friend or some other way is still breaking the rule of multiple accounts.

That aside, good episode.

From Runescape Rules

----------------
No, this goes against the rule. You may not transfer items between your accounts in any way.

-----------------

So you cannot use your friend to transfer items
