That doesn't mean you should try it. That's just a problem with people challenging themselves. If they don't want to try whats hard or uninteresting to them, then that is their choice. I'm not saying that's the case for everyone, but for some it is. Maybe instead interchange subject or object with theme (unless those are the same thing :huh:). Anyways, all I'm saying is that SOTW is fine the way it is now, but there should be more theme type requests and participation as well. It would be great if everyone gave a shot at a theme, but that's just me.

Just out of interest, are people voting for their own signatures when they enter?
I've been trying to look at all the signatures unbiasly and vote for whichever I think is the best, it just seems most of the time I end up choosing my own since I genuinely think it's better than the others.

I try to stay away from voting for myself as it makes me feel like an *** or something. But there are times that I do vote for myself, not going to deny that.

That would be dependent on if entries keep coming in. If no one enters, not much point in having SOTW right? So in a way it's up to you guys (the graphic community).

There are no plans to shut it down but if activity doesn't pick up there will be no choice other than perhaps a temporary shutdown.
