I've never really gotten around to setting up one of these cloud storage programs, but I've finally gotten around to doing it and I wanted get some opinions.

Dropbox and Google Drive seem like the two most likely programs I would want to use. I'll also note that I am on Windows and don't plan on paying for extra space for whichever I decide to get. So I wanted to ask what people's opinions on Dropbox and Google Drive and what anybody has liked or not liked about either of them.

I use both. Dropbox I use for my school, and I like the way it is structured. It is more like regular folder extensions. I use Drive for projects, excel projects, and folders I share for school projects.

In short, DropBox for school and Drive for projects and files to share.

If you have not set up your dropbox yet, let me know so I can invite you. I get free space if you join :)

This chart is pretty good. I just want to point out that it is VERY easy to get additional free space with DropBox (other than inviting other people).

SkyDrive now has an Android app and is mobile browser friendly, so that chart was probably updated before last week ( ;), and it looks very pretty and integrates very nicely with the Open Share system). If you were a legacy user, you get 25GB instead (+5GB from Windows Live Mesh, devices.live.com), so hopefully you played around home.live.com with your Windows Live ID Microsoft Account back then, and has extensive integration with Office Web Apps, Office 365, Office 2010, and the Office 2013 Preview. It has good integration with (and improvements are under way) within Windows Live Essentials, Windows 8, major social networks, minor multimedia social networks, and plug-in support for 3rd party developers.

Oh, and I also find that SkyDrive pushes more reliably than Dropbox. But it's just pushy, so who cares about that? And less downtime.
