would any of them be an ipad killer? probably not unless they can actually be priced at a lower amount. but then odds are in about 1-2 months apple will unleash ipad 2.0

and do not forget that there have been more leaked information for iphone 5.0.

New iPad coming out this spring or so I believe.

Those pictures of the prototype are speculated to be the next iPhone model. Who knows? (Where's Shane? XD)

Steve Jobs is a genius. Apple's timing and development is always ahead of everyone else. Everyone goes to them first and considers the alternatives later (since alternatives don't come until a couple months later). Apple always gets a monopoly on the new stuff first. I can't see too many of these tablets providing much of a challenge.

The blurb that went along with I think it was this article on the Yahoo news feed yesterday said that the BlackBerry tablet is faster and lighter than the iPad. Might have been a different article. I didn't read it xD

Trekkie, iPhone 4 came out last summer.

The iPad is the iPod of the tablet universe, it will be ubiquitous. It will be the main choice except for those who either want something cheaper, want something that doesn't require iTunes, are android fanboys, or are Apple haters.

Really, these should have been coming out last summer/fall if they wanted to appear as real competitors and not just "me too" devices.

well the samsung galaxy did come out last fall. the problem was the price was way to high, and the ipad was just better than what they had.

Has anyone ever tried the Lenovo Ideapad? I saw that one in best buy awile back and thought it was pretty impressive, especially because you can use it as a netbook, or detach the screen and use it as a tablet. For now, I'm gonna wait awile till the price's drop more on tablets, still too far out of my price range for something I would mostly use while sitting in the recliner watching tv, lol. For anyone who has a tablet, what's the runescape experience like on one?
