Getting a new notebook very soon and its coming with a 34mm ExpressCard slot. What are some suggestions to putting this slot to good use?
Its coming with 2 USB, 5 in 1 card reader and gigabit ethernet built in.

There's nothing wrong with exploring the possibilities of a slot that may facilitate a "real" need at a later time. If I don't know what's available, how would I know if it could even fulfill a "real" need that may arise?

Thanks :D

Graphics card are possible? I was trying to find them, but they were the wrong PCI kind. Also, I don't even know if they're any good!

No, no graphics cards. You can go with something like a TV Tuner, mobile broadband, FireWire, SATA external HDD, wireless NIC, sound card, USB port(s), or other random ports as well.

Unless you can find something you'd use quite a bit, or at least something that sits flush with the casing, I'm guessing you probably won't be using it all that often.
