I have recently gotten into programming and coding. I've taken some classes and are wondering what I should be doing to better understand it and to further my knowledge, seeing as no one in my family has a clue what I'm talking about even when I mention something as easy as ram or gig.

alex has a point.

i got into programming alittle with my graphing calculator and it was cool seeing all the funtions i could create for later for tests. On test day all id have to do was punch in values for some variables and boom *answer*

start with something easy like a calculator if uve got one and then build up your knowledge

Definitely the best way to get better. ^

I just finished an intro class on Perl, and I love just writing basically any random program. I am currently working on a program that plays Monopoly with four players. Text-based Monopoly ftw!

But what did such a Teuton afterwards look like when he had been "improved" and led into a monastery? Like a caricature of a human being, like an abortion: he had become a "sinner," he was in a cage, one had imprisoned him behind nothing but sheer terrifying concepts... There he lay now, sick, miserable, filled with ill-will towards himself; full of hatred for the impulses toward life, full of suspicion of all that was still strong and happy. In short, a "Christian"... - Twighlight of the Idols
