Windows 7 RC

I was thinking about getting Windows 7 RC, because well vista sucks.
But I heard After the full verison comes out, it will shut off or something.
Is it worth getting?

You have maybe one week left before Microsoft stops letting people download it. It stops working around June of next year I think.

It stops working March 2010. It is no longer available for download from Microsoft, so you'd have to download it at an alternative site, or get a copy from someone you know who has the RC. You can still activate it, but downloads are not available.

If you're thinking Vista sucks, you're probably on an underpowered machine, or a machine that came with, or now includes, quite a bit of crapware. I've got my Vista install running at the same efficiency of Windows 7, and have had it at that performance level for some time now. It's missing a few features of course, but performance isn't taking a hit.

Well Ill guess Ill just wait until the finished upgrade is released then.
