Seriously, wtf is up with Twitter? It's so addictive! :@ Maybe they put something in the water? I dunno.

But anyway, what is your opinion on Twitter?

My opinion is that it's pretty much nothing but amazing fun and addictive-ness. I constantly thought today "Oh god, I can't wait to get home so I can get on Twitter." (If you read my Twitter, you'd know where I was at) At first, before I even tried out Twitter, I thought it was the most stupid thing ever, and that only people with iPhones/iTouches/Phones/Laptops would use it, but I guess that it really is a cool little website. It's also a nice way to keep people updated on things.

i love my twitter
but i use it to follow bands,tech people,youtube people
i dont really use mine personally i just read tweets

I signed up at the urging of others, them telling me it was the next greatest site, but I really don't use it that often. Perhaps a glance once or twice a day. For me, its only use is real time news, nothing more than what Facebook already does, except the fact that more famous people use twitter.

Yeah, I've got a Twitter. Pretty addictive I guess.

I like how it works. Last night at about 1:30 AM I informed everyone via iTouch that I was watching Family Guy. Yeaaahhhh.

I really dont like twitter. It is too plain and limited. I love Facebook much much more.

The thing I notice about Twitter (for me, at least) is that it's really not all that interesting unless a lot of people you know are using it. I got bored of posting things like "I'm drinking water right now" and stuff. XD Something about it just makes me..feel like a loser for typing useless details of my life. I'm not bashing anyone who uses it though. I'm sure a lot of interesting stuff gets posted on there..I've just..I have yet to see anything terribly interesting pop up.

It's another site for very lonely people to write on thinking the world gives a **** about them. Much like myspace, facebook and now even youtube. I don't care enough about *anyone* to want to know every little thing there doing.

I personally strech to posting on forums and that's it. I don't see the need for anything else.

That's my opinion of it at least.

The only thing I use Twitter for is following RSBandB staff and Jagex. I never log in on my computer as I can check it on my phone and I never 'tweet'

Whats wrong with just using the status box on facebook?

And then you've got all the rest of the facebook features like apps and comments and videos and pictures etc

I find it very simple for those who are minimalistic, but I prefer Facebook. The only time I really go on Twitter now if for Jagex's page.. lol

I signed up, but it was only to follow Swagbucks. It doesn't look like it would be very useful or addictive, but then I'm probably wrong, since everyone else thinks it is, and so they must be right.

I guess it's okay for people who feel the need to update it all the time, but I think I will stick to using Facebook considering it also has apps for games and quizzes etc.
