This is a newish website that allows you to enter a group name or song name then search for it. From there it will allow you to play the song via their website. It's pretty new seeing as their first blog post was July 13th.

I can't see this being around for much longer knowing certain organizations such as the RIAA.

I don't see why it would be shut down, I've been using youtube for this for years now, I never download an album or whatever without first checking the band out on youtube.

So for me, unless this has hidden advantages serves little to no purpose..although i did give it a try, very quick. I'm sure this will take off in no time.

Thank you for sharing this site with us Shane I like it, Hopefully it will stay online, technically since it doesn't let you download the music it isn't doing anything illegal am I right? Rhapsody did the same thing only they limited you to like 10 songs. They also have ajax on the search box which is nice.

Pretty nice site. Much like Seeqpod, but you're not getting the songs from some random source..Always a nice thing to know.

EDIT - Songs are from other random sites.. Basically a re-skinned Seeqpod, so it's nothing new unfortunately. On a side note, the Downloadhelper plugin for Firefox allows you to download the music you're listening to. One of the ways I found out they're from random sites

Yes I noticed that MixTurtle didn't actually host the music too by watching the status bar.

Yes. It's my only add-on currently for Firefox.

Actually you can. I think you just click on the play progress slider. The thing that shows how far along you are in the song.

the place you click to start the song also if you click it pauses.
