Do you copy them to an external hard drive?
Do you email them to yourself?
Do you upload them to some random hosting website?

I personally like to put a 7zipped, password protected copy of my important files in GMail Drive, Live Mesh, and my external hard drive.

IF I even bother backing up files, it is to a CD or to my Flash Drive

- Time machine handles my main machine to an external drive.
- The other computer is backed up by SyncToy daily.

The only problem with this plan is the backups won't work if there's a disaster at my house...

You should always back up your files,

even if you don't think you should, because all it takes is 1 worm, trojan, or keylogger and

your computer security may be breached. Always back up you computer all the time.

make three copies. One to a cd, the other two onto a external hard drive or either a flash

disk.

General files go on one of several 4gb memory sticks. Stuff like photos, etc. go on a DVD or to an external drive. Usually both, but not on any particular schedule.

I've got two external hard drives that I backup to, but I've been considering Amazon's S3 service. Don't think I will bother for a while, but it's always an option.

I would never send my files over the internet to a backup server.
I backup my files every month on a hard disk i don't use.

Spoiler for Everything else:

A Kid asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" and Jesus said. "This much."
And spread his arms out on the cross and died.
If you believe that he did this for you put this in your signature.
