DONT USE FIREFOX!

Please, just dont. Opera is the way to go! Sure, 'Firefox' is a better name than 'Opera', but Opera is a safer, faster, better browser.

Below this text is some black text with details of how to unblock it. Before reading it, I advise you talk to your parents or whatever, make a deal with them. They will have had a reason for blocking it, you must remember that. If it was your grades slipping, ask them to unblock it with the promise you will concentrate better on schoolwork etc.

Instructions start here. To read, just select it.

Download and install Opera from opera.com. Remember when you download it, click SAVE and not OPEN. Save it to your documents or something, then install it.

Run Opera. Click Tools -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Network -> Proxy Servers.

Check the box next to 'HTTP'. In the first box next to it, enter 221.208.173.84 . And in the second (Port) box, enter 3128 - these are the IP address and port of a proxy server I use sometimes.

NOW READ THIS NEXT BIT.

The proxy server is probably used by many people, so its going to be slow. You do not want to use it unless necessary, and for you, 'necessary' means 'runescape.com'.

When you want to get onto runescape, open Opera, press F12, and make sure there is a tick next to 'Enable proxy servers'. When you want to browse the web for anything else, make sure there is no tick next to that box. You can turn it on and off easily just by pressing the f12 key.

Instructions end here.

I am not responsible if you unblock it and your parents find out. I blacked out the text, you did not have to read it. I hope that is clear.

I like FF and Internet Explorer 7 beta 3 (yah, beta 3..... LOL)

but i prefer Firefox.

My father uses Opera and he's quite happy with it.

You should try them on your own and just see by yourself :)
