MP3 or iPod?

Well ok I was thinking about getting good mp3 player with fair amount of memory, but i have seen tons of people getting iPod and then I said to myself why? I have seing on Napster.com that you can dowload unlimited amounts of songs to your mp3 player while on iPod you have to pay $1 for just 1 song

Which mp3 player you prefer and can you show a site or tell me what brand is it? And if you voted for iPod give me good reasons why you voted for it.

I have tons of CDs and I am not just gonna take them everywhere I go.

I like my iPod because of it's ability to have Podcasts.

Napster charges the same price for songs like iTunes does. The only difference is that iTunes won't let you play their songs on any other MP3 player.

Typically, the more you pay for something the better it'll be. So it depends on your budget.

I'd stick with mp3 players for the simple lack of hassle. With iPods you have to change everything into iTune format which would take time, i'm guessing, whereas with mp3 players you can play any file type on most of them. The one i've got now is 60gb, and plays anything. Removeable harddrive xD. Cost just under £200 as well, whereas with iPods a 60gb is about £300.

Also i hate apple.

I have an iPod shuffle. If you want an iPod, the shuffle might not be that great. Why? No screen. You can't see the song you're playing. Nano might be a better option.

iPods can use MP3's and MP4's as well as play videos. They're better. End of story.

you can use songs downloaded from napster on itunes. i know alot of people that do i use morpheous to download and it works perfectly

p.s. i have over 2000 songs on my ipod so download programs are way worth it
