Explain why it's not 3.40 it's 1.7.... I is no speak techy

Oh, and other then that could you rate my Comp? It's not a "gaming computer" I know but it was made about 4ish years ago and hasn't changed since.

Perhaps you've got it in a 400mhz FSB socket when it should have an 800mhz FSB, so you can only get 1.7ghz out of the CPU even though it was designed for 3.4ghz.
