new laptop

I'd be more worried about pressure. I havent had a lot of damage on my laptop, but I've had two small cracks (warranty covered, replaced for free), one of which was on the hinge. Things break or get close to breaking, and for something you're going to be using every day in college, you want to make sure that it'll last.

I can't go against getting a sleeve/bag, but even the small stuff is covered when you prepare for the potential larger problems (aka screen breaks, mobo dies, etc).

Unless you're jamming your bag full (which is never a good idea) it'll still fit. I don't really have any recommendations, they usually all do the same thing anyhow. Just go to a local department store that has a tech department and they should be able to show you what they have.

If you're getting it from best buy, go to the store. You'll pay tax, vs tax + shipping for online. Plus if it's close enough, why bother making them ship it out? Dontcha want it now?

Got the samsung today woot but its a i3.But what should I put on the laptop and what should I know about windows 7.
