Okay, I have a mouse, as most people who own a computer do, nothing out of the oridinary there.
It's a laser mouse, and it's wireless, although I have an option to plug it in so it's... well... not.
Ah hah, the problem lies theirin.
The wheel on the mouse doesn't bloody work. It's very temperamental, if I move it, really, really slowly, I can scroll, but if I move it at a normal pace, it just doesn't respond.
Now, my question:
Do I need a new mouse, or is it possible to fix this irritation that has actually reduced my poor mother to a blubbering, gibbering wreck, because she relies on a mouse's wheel whenever she uses our family PC?
Thanks.

Fair enough Trekkie cheers anyway.
