I'm glad to see you're using a Pentium M, though they have lower clock speeds, from what I've heard, they use less power. So whoever says the clock speed is slow, shame on you! But the Dellness is bad, it probably won't ever affect you, though. You have quite a weird amount of RAM, but it'll work nearly as well as 512MB RAM.

I can't really rate your laptop on the few specifications you posted, with a laptop, there are many other features one needs to take into account, like battery life.

1.7GHz isn't that bad for a laptop. Thats about the average you get if you want to pay under 1000 dollars for it. The memory is pretty good. That should be a pretty good laptop. I wish I had one.

512-504MB of RAM = 8MB Integrated Video?

Pentium M = Good Speed, Low Power Consumption

Not too bad, would have considered a Toshiba or something a little better, but decent.
