 Post subject: Excellent Programs.
PostPosted: November 4th, 2005, 8:34 pm
These are some really good programs, I found over 80 viruses on my computer with these. They are both FREE

http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/
Download is at the top

http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
Scroll down the download is at the bottom.

They are both way way better than Norton, it catches everything and Norton catches nothing...
They scan and protect your computer so it works as both.

I switched from Protector Plus! to AVG and I'm sticking with AVG because of its powerful virus detection and email scanning.
Spybot, Ad-aware SE are spy/ad ware removers that I use.

If I remember correctly, if you only intend on having one anti-spyware program, which you shouldn't, it's a bad idea to use ad-aware, it's the most popular, yet least powerful, one there is.

Microsoft Anti Spyware and Spy Sweeper are supposedly the best.

I have Norton Systemworks and MS Antispyware.

MS Antispyware was way better than I thought.

Viruses and spyware will be sorry if they got close to my computer.....

That's because all Microsoft did was buy out Giant, take their anti-spyware program, and shove their name on it.

those 2 programs are the nest for keeping your computer clean but a firewall like zonealarm would help on top of everything else.
since you like those take a look at this list of antispyware, virus and popup programs.

Spoiler for Everything else:

A Kid asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" and Jesus said. "This much."
And spread his arms out on the cross and died.
If you believe that he did this for you put this in your signature.
