No pics in this thread because I'm on my dads comp, but it's all good to me anyhow.

With 14 arrows in my quiver, I decide to kill just one last fire giant. Boom boom, it's dead and what does it give me?

A SHIELD LEFT HALF!

No lies, and no it doesn't appear on the bottom of the stack. My first dragon drop... I could just die.

What I did with it;

Sold it for 4.2 mil.

Bought a D Med for 1.6 mil

Bought a Santa for 2.8 mil

Traded the Santa for full Karil, no crossbow

Traded the karil for Dragon legs.

Confusing, but in any case I now have the med, the legs, and my crytal shield. Pimp to the max. Thx f0r t3h phr33 souf, fire giants.

Do you need to do complete waterfall to get to fire giants??
i heard you had to. also nice work. Could a lvl 73 with full rune dragon long and dag(p) and full hand of swordies could kill a couple of fire giants?

Congrats with all the items you got indirect from the giant!

And yes they can hit hard sometimes... But you might want to buy a halberd for those giants. There are tons of spots to kill them with a halberd. And you have to complete waterfall quest.

People in there 50's often go down there, but usually with a halberd.

I was so excited when I got it, everyone thought i was crazy.

It looked to me like Santa's were dropping at the time. Maybe a I made a mistake, but I was afraid to lose all the money from a sweet drop like that. I got exactly what I wanted out of it anyway, plus I got to try on Barrow's Armor.

There are fire giants in lvl 53 wilderness down some stairs but pkers will probably get you.

Wrong! I've been playing five years..not one flippin dragon drop -ever- i am officaly the most unluckyest person ever. Congratzs anyway..you realize i hate you now though..right?

I wish they had a jaw drop emoticon... :cry:

... and i wish I got a shield left half.... or some super high lvl guy died with full dragon and a p-hat set and there was no one but me to get it... :cry:

... where's a falling star when you need it most...

That falling star went straight through into the waterfall, nailed that giant in the head and gave me a left half shield.

I love falling stars.

No, You do not have to complete waterfall to kill fire giants. You can find fire giants at Brimhaven Dungeon too. But of course, waterfall is prefer by many because you can range and hally them ans also no wild dogs to disturb you.

You can kill a number of fire giants with full rune and swordies.
