shilo village quest is really old and really flawed. i killed all 3 of the boss monsters 95% of the way, then connor came in with recoils for the finishing blows. in adition, connor used his bone key to open the door, and it let me get in too :P
i also played the role of "i died bless my grave so i don't lose my stuff" guy.
