I finished it about 20 minutes ago and I'm really pleased. I'm trying to turn away from the whole "Lonely girl standing in a field/cemetery/etc" theme that's too prevalent in art these days and I think I did well with that. As usual, I completely and utterly fail with lighting. Half of it is probably due to laziness since it's the last thing I work on with photomanipulation. But anyway, let me know what you think.

I really like the whole picture you create.

Initially I thought you should have used a snow tiger but the more I looked the less I thought this. The contrast to all the green, white and dark shades is actually really necessary. Not sure about the white patch on the statue to the right - was that intentional.

But a really interesting composition.

Of courseee...it was intentional....*furiously paints over with clone stamp* Yup, totally intended! :D

I actually considered using a white tiger in the beginning because they're so exotic, but I felt the whole thing would just look washed out (as you said). I rather like the orangey-ness of the tiger. Really brings an exotic air to the whole picture.

Thank you for telling me what you think!

I'm not sure if it's intentional but the middle of the picture looks a lot brighter than the outer edges, the bridge in particular.

Rays of light are shining on it from the sun.

I really like the old temple feel it has to it, with the stairs leading up covered in algae and moss. It gives the picture a very historical feel. Definately one of the best works I've seen from you :P

Thank you! I added some texture to the stone to make it a little more aged.

I think this is a really nice piece. I think it's original and detailed and the composition works well. My eye first travels to the tiger, then the lady, and the third focal point would probably be the stone pillar in the middle. My only criticism would be that the lighting is off like you mentioned. I mean I only really notice it when I look at the tiger. Also the tiger and the lady look like a painting but the plants on the left look like a photograph. Oh well, it could be something along the lines of mixed media and you could say you intentionally did that and that's why it's more original haha.

But overall I really liked this. I wish I knew how to do art on the computer. Hopefully I'll be going to an art college so I'll try and learn how then.

A Kid asked Jesus, "How much do you love me?" and Jesus said. "This much." And spread his arms out on the cross and died. If you believe that he did this for you put this in your signature.
