Done for my Art Design class. Basically designed a logo and various typefaces and repeated them many times over as "development". Retarded process but we have to do it..

For some reason, some of my blacks are grey in this image. So anything grey should be black. Although I have to admit some of the greys contrast nicely, I haven't actually gone any further playing around with colour yet; that's the next stage (and final stage, finally).

Hate Illustrator.

Was it described in the brief that the logo had to incorporate "along came a" or was it your own choice to do whatever you want? Because I definitely think that the "along came a" text ruins most of them. My favourite though is the second to top left logo. With Taniwha in striped letters. It catches the eye, looks stylish and professional, and is not too overboard or hard to read. Though I do think it would look better without the bottom-right dragon.

It was my own choice, but I would've dropped it if it wasn't necessary. Unfortunately I was not able to spend enough time on that text, as I developed the main "Taniwha" part of it.

Was it your first time using illustrator? Im not sure how hard illustrator is but they all look pretty good to me. I wanted to make a logo for the web design I did in photoshop, and its pretty **** hard. I might get illustrator, but by the sound of it its annoying to use. XD

Aw these are nice. Was the dragon your own design?

My favorite is the bottom middle. It seems like it could almost be a tattoo.

Edit:
Whoops, if I read more carefully the first time I would have noticed the dragon is your own design.
I really do like these - the dragon's cute. I wish I was better at designing characters like this. Overall this is very creative :)

Very cool stuff,

Quite impressive illustrations.
My favorite is the one directly under the top left. That one looks cool with the black and white letters.
