Ok, it's a fisheye, but I can't think of any position of the fotographer than falling from the sky...

Found it, it's and ultrawide angle lens shot in 4 stages and stiocthed together

looks tight tho looking at the shadows of the people sitting along the wall u can tell it was pieced together tho it still looks awesome.

a remote zepplin or helicopter with just a single wide str8 downward shot woulda shown a person with the remote controller in they hands somewhere nearby. tho the mother daughter looking upwards at the camera does lead one to believe that idea easily at first.

to make something similiar, a tall ladder to get a beautiful view down and out angling, 4 exposures overlapped and blended so that each exposure is about 33% or more of the circle. moving the ladder around in a set area to keep it (and it's shadow) outta the rest of the shots. would be a starting point make a few trial ones til u get a better idea of where to setup the camera at for each part of it.

Maybe he made a jet pack, hooked it up and just propelled out there took a picture and came back..
