I love the blue color. I think the font looks nice as well.

A border could be good here though because the edges are a bit bland.

I don't like the render really, but I think that's just personal opinion. A border would be good, and I also think the text in the centre has too much glow on it.

A border is usually a 1-5px brush that goes all the way around the signature's edges. I personally use a 1px brush, but all you have to do is just choose the brush, hold shift if you're using Photoshop, and just go around the edges.
