It's a great first. My only moan would be the render, half of Spidey's leg and the top of his head is cut off, and the black it was cut from is still blatant. I don't feel the render blends in with the background personally.
The background itself is excellent, what brush is that? I want it

Thats pretty good for your first.

My first was awful, then again, I was using Photoshop 5.0 Limited Edition
And I didn't make mine with a render, what you need though, Is something that spidey is on. Like a rock or something

Not that there are many rocks in New-York >,<
