I'm just starting to pick up on photography here, so any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Below are some of my recent photos, in order from most recent to least recent. I'm using a Nikon D50 camera (digital).

These were out of my first roll of film with my old Konica AR-T.

Theyre some very nice photos. Nature is always a nice thing to practice photography on. My favourite has to be the fire, I can never seem to get a photo of fire to look like that, my lens gets messed up and the photo goes too bright.

I always find it hard to comment on photo's. I'm used to digital art. heh. As soon as I get a digicam of my own, I'll be doing some myself, although it will probably be for photo manip.

yes, natures and flowers always look good and crisp on a nice camera. I agree with Anubis, that fire is awesome, whenever i try to take a picture of fire it gets blurry, distorted, bright, ect. but yours looks great.

All of your photos have great focus. The second and sixth photos of the flowers could use a little bit better lighting though. The sixth one (which I'm guessing from the order of the photos, it's not really recent) sort of looks a little too dusty-coloured. The b&w photos are great though! I really liked the one of the bottle. Seems like you're what people call a "jack of all trades" when it comes to art. It's great!

Thanks for the tips! Hopefully I'll fix up my lighting through practice.
"Jack of all trades, master of none." :) heh

Thanks :) It's not too hard if you've got the right camera, you just need a pretty high shutter speed and a larger aperture opening to keep it balanced (ie: lower f-number).
