February Events - Guns n' Roses (Days Swapped)

The Guns:
We'll be hosting a Call of Duty 4 Xbox Live event on Sunday February 24th. Basically we'll be doing a smattering of rounds, it won't be just your standard team deathmatch we might go into other game types if people are interested.

The Roses:
This month Jagex has promised us a handy addition to the Farming skill. So it seemed only appropriate to base this months event around Farming!

That's right you all hate Farming (well for the most part) so we're going to add a bit of spice to it and hopefully teach you to enjoy your daily Farming runs. Make them something to look forward to doing when you log onto Runescape.

Basically we'll be doing an instructional chain farming run. Now if there was no trade limit we'd simply give you the seeds, however, with the trade limits you will have to buy the seeds from us for the lowest possible market value. You can also buy the other required teleports from us if you want.

Note: Ectophial is required. Prices will be posted a day or so before the event so we can get an accurate representation to you of how much it will cost.

After the chain Farming lesson we will return to the Farming patch south of Ardougne to have a contest! You must have level 31 to compete in this contest as we will be growing strawberries! Super compost, baskets, and strawberry seeds will be provided free of charge. To keep things fair we are going to ask that no one use Magic secateurs or bring other items to the Farming patch.

Strawberry Contest Fee: 1887gp (strawberry seeds) + 509gp (super compost)
*Note we will bank before starting the contest. You must have an empty inventory except for your GP when starting this contest. Anyone found leaving the farming area during the grow time will be disqualified.

1. South Varrock Hops Patch (4 Barley seeds) = 76gp
2. Lumbridge tree patch (1 Acorn seed, 1 plant pot) = 140gp
3. South Falador (6 Potato, 1 Marigold, 1 guam) = 112gp
4. Falador tree patch (1 Acorn seed, 1 plant pot) = 140gp
5. Taverly tree patch (1 Acorn seed, 1 plant pot) = 140gp
6. Port Phasmaty (6 Potato, 1 Marigold, 1 guam) = 112gp
7. Northern Seers Village Hops (4 Barley seeds) = 76gp
8. Catherby allotments (6 potato, 1 marigold, 1 guam) = 112gp
9. Catherby fruit tree (1 apple tree, 1 plant pot) = 45gp
10. North aroudgne allotment (nothing planted here)

Seed package total price as of Friday night: 953gp
Teleport package: 818 gp (1 teleport to camelot. You provide ectophial.)

You can either buy the entire set or no set at all. Granted this isn't the best but it helps keep things simple for us. You are also welcome to use your own seeds if you wish.

*Please note if you are unable to make it to a certain location due to a quest not being complete or you somehow get lost along the way you can skip a certain point if you want then meet us at the next one. Also the cost of this pack for the farming lesson won't be astronomical because we're going to be using the cheapest seeds possible.

We held pc events and barley anyone showed up, we're not going to do these things if it's just a waste of our time.

Also, you guys don't need to post to inform us you don't have XBL, that's fine..we never expected everyone to have it. o.0

I'll try to maake it to the farming event if i'm not too busy. Sounds fun

I think a weeks notice is plenty of time really. I certainly don't plan more than a week ahead for most things.

As for the day, we do whatever we can it has to fit around us first, we try for the best day/time but if we aren't there to run the event then things usually go a bit crazy.
