A suggestion

I was thinking, is it possible that maybe below our avatar there could be a bar for a quote. I know absolutely nothing about designing a site but if that is possible could it be done? I would like to have a quote from a song or a famous person that would describe me.

It's a trivial matter to add a new profile field. The only problem is that we can't set a max length. If people were to enter something that was too long it would stretch out the contents of that left column.

I suggest you put it in your signature.

How about you put a limit to it like "ONLY PUT (however many characters you would like), OR GET A WARNING"?

That would work but quite frankly we don't have enough people to be constantly watching over peoples profile fields. To add onto that only admins can edit profile fields of other users.

This is why the signature is a much more convenient place.

It's a nice idea, but I can see how that would end up being a lot of work for someone else to handle. I find that my Signature has plenty of space for quotes.

Still would be pretty cool though to have it under your name.
