bored with the site

What I would like to see would be more forum sections.
Would anyone have any ideas?
Mabye get 10 good ideas and have members vote on 5 they would want added.
I would like to see more technology ones, mabye a school or educational on and current events forum topics put up

Nearly every sub-forum that's been added recently (with the exception of Non-RS Related Games) ends up having poor activity. Because of this, I personally think the amount of sub-forums on RSBANDB is sufficient.

We're always open to new ideas about the site, but (as Brad truly states) RSBANDB isn't a democracy. I'm sure Shane would be happy to look at any of your ideas, but we'd need proof that they would be worthwhile. Things that have been strongly recommended (Teamspeak, Java Chat, Literature Forum, etc) have ended up festering in the past. You're going to need to be more persuasive than just saying you're "bored".

I like the idea for the current events, but as MQ said I think it would die.

I pushed hard for the literature forum, and finally got it, but it died down. (I thinkit's better were it is now tbh)

Why not just put tech threads in the tech area...

...I don't see how it'd help seen as the tech area isn't used often, spreading it out further would make the problem worse. o.0

Theres already a place for everything you want. It would just make things more specific, which isn't needed unless we have like 1000+ active posting members, which we don't.

A bit off subject but one thing I would really like to see would be selectable site skins, another forum I use has this and it's very nice. The only problem there may be would be the color people post in may be hard to see on some skins.

Yeah, the reason we have rather general forums is because our member count doesn't go up very high; there's unlikely to be 25-30 active members on at the same time and even if there were that many, new topics won't come up as often as many would like to think. For that reason, we don't have or need specific forums.
