Strength and Max hit research needed

We need as much information as we can get so anything is helpful.

Please do more tests and tell us the results if you have the time.

Weapon equipped: Abyssal whip
Attack Level: 89
Attack bonus: Slash +104
Attack Style: Slash/accurate
Number of Monsters killed: 100's, been training here for a while.
Max hit: 29

Hope this thread isn't too old either :S

Also not quite sure what Attack Bonus means, if its wrong, please pm me or something.

actually no that is incorrect 99 str 99 att the max with a whip is eactly 44. but with max str bonuses u can hit up to 51 believe me or not its the trust max bonus being super att super str, peity. not sure on the d scim or any other weopens. you are not going to hit 20 hits higher by leveling 10 lvls in attack.

I'm not sure what basis owen posted on, but I think I might have to agree with rab1d goat on this one, it doesn't sound right.....I would double check your research on different monsters

Nope, even though it's been awhile since my last post you can still submit information. I, and the whole CC, need submissions from users. Not only does it make our job much easier, it also gives different views on things.

And yes, you got the right attack bonus.

Rab1d and Isaiah, if you think his tests are incorrect then please post results of your own. I don't have 99 strength so I can't verify it. I'm sure other members here do, but they might be busy. I would appreciate any help you can give.

Well first I don't have 99 attack, don't know if that matters though. I had 89 at the time as you see. I don't have all the strength bonuses, I wore bandos chestplate and others like Helm of Neitiznot, and dragon boots. I didn't use any potions or prayer, which could've made a difference.

Edit: I did hit a 31 once at 91 attack, been training at armoured zombies now. But that is the highest I got.

yeah, i mean i know what you were saying but what like what i was trying to say was you arent going to hit nearly 15 numbers higher just by getting attack lvl up. the skill attack is mainly giving you the ability to hit higher numbers more frequently

I'm glad that you wish to help and I appreciate it, but I need to know what strength boosts you were using if any and what your strength bonus was. Please use the form as it's the easier way for me to read the information.

Is research still needed?
