SKOTM and SOTM?

I don't really know the difference. To me it is supposed to say Skill Of the Month for both of them. BUt why different spellings?

They're too completely different things.

SKOTM is the Skill of the Month competition.
SOTM is the Signature of the Month competition, which is a public voting on all the weekly winning signatures of that month in the SOTW. (Signature of the Week) The winner gets another sig trophy and is featured on the front page of the Informer.
