Why did you join RSBandB?

I joined simply to post pictures of some of the duels I'd won, I didn't expect to get very active, and I didn't until about 5 months after I'd joined.
What's the reason you joined?

Originally, it was when I was advertising my clan, and to find potential allies. I joined aaages ago, probably before Creepy, but my account was deleted in the Great Account Purge of August 2005.

I made this account December 2005 for graphics. RSBandB seemed like a relatively small community, and I had had less than friendly responses from people on Tip.it, nor could I be bothered to get the necessary 50 posts to get on the gfx forum on RunescapeCommunity. I only really started being more active in mid january.

I was bored one day and was searching fake pictures on Google. Alex 43s gallery was the first one. Thats how I found out about the site. I continued to browse the forum (haven't signed up) because of RSBANDBUpdate! (What an awsome podcast) which is why I kept coming back. After browsing for a few months I decided it might be fun to put my opinion in some topics. So I signed up.

I also don't know how i found this forum .. but Mike & Shane & Dan & Pika were great people so i stayed

After I was playing runescape for a month, people ingame were advertising runehq. So I decided to go there and I started using their calculators (Which were the Rsbandb calculators we still have). So one day I actually visited this site and got to this forum. My very few first posts were only in the marketplace but that's what got me signed up. Plus there were a lot of people here that were good in RuneScape. So I thought I might actually learn something.

My original reason was the Fake Runescape Pictures topic. I spent some time browsing the forums before actually joining it. I learned how to post images, learned the rules, etc., etc. and then I finally joined. But i was attracted to the sandbox and my first post was "OMG The government killed my cow" XD Good Times...

I think mine was because RSBANDB didn't have one of those rubbish default looking forum skins. It looked like the owners put effort into how the forums and site looked and I signed up. I sort of took a break for many months until I remembered about it and started becoming a member.

I liked it because it wasn't a forum where there was constant hostility. People are helpful and kind. That's the reason why I still like it here.

I came here because Alex joined as well. We made movies together and that's how I started becoming more active. Now that the other forum I went to went ka-put, You'll see me here slightly more often. Runehq's clue scroll information is also becoming a bit more... "not good at all". and RsBandB has the Interactive World Map. And also, if it weren't for the House designer that was also added, I wouldn't have renovated my house and saved over 200k.

So in other words, This site rules all. 'Nuff said, eh?

I came because a friend in runescape told me it was awesome...he was right. I've been here ever since. I also tried runescapecommunity, runehq, and tip.it for forums...but you could spend a whole day posting there...I just wanted something to do while I was cutting yews...you know and hour or two of chatting. Rsbandb was perfect for that and still is. Plus I can get to know almost all the active posters here...tip.it...fat chance.
