The table system I had found was useing code like [mcol][mrow]text[/mcol][/mrow] it was harder to remember then this one mike found, where did you find it anyway mike?

Mike rarely installs any pre-written mods. He prefers writing them himself.
For these tags he wrote the code by himself.

Jeff is correct, I did modify the table tags myself, most prebuilt mods don't work anyways, because we have so many installed and other modifications I have done myself.

And the colors are nothing new really... I just added a few to the list. Here's a whole bunch more that also work http://www.w3schools.com/html/html_colornames.asp.
