It was the April Fools 2007 prank the then mods played on us.

First Trekkie left due to "personal issues" I believe. And then MQ left, and then Southrend and Creepy left due to "disagreements with the admins". Southrend made that InvisionFree forum, and advertised it in his sig, making his own "new RuneScape fansite". Someone resized Southrend's signnature to add to the drama too.
Everyone was... freaking out, I guess, and everyone were all predicting "I'm gonna be mod now, they need new ones

" or "My friend is going to be mod he deserves it!!" Some people posted leaving topics because of the four mods leaving. XD
Then they came back "April fools!!!"
