If I started a little event thing called FOTW (Fake of the Week) and ran it like SOTW (making an entry thread, then making a winner thread, then making another entry thread etc.) would that be okay? The reason I am asking this is because if I did all that it would clutter up the Fake Pictures forum and stuff. I would make a banner for the winners, and do everything myself. If there was a seperate forum for this, and maybe another member ran it, maybe that would be okay? It would be exactly like SOTW except that it would be a fake picture contest.

This should really just be moved to rsbandb site anyway. As it is an idea for the website.

Can't see it happening myself, none of the fakes in the fake area are hugely impressive and many of them are just taken from someone else.

I like the idea of having more official competitions. |Despite what these nubs say, competitive art is something that can improve a person significantly. Where as in the graphics battle, the only insentive to make something better to win is, just that. In an official battle there is a prize and so people would theoretically work harder and therefore improve.

However, saying that, there aren't that many impressive fake "artists" around though, so I don't think there is much reason to do so.
