I'm in the group of RuneWire beta testers, and my rank is adamantite, not my group.

Well it is wrong but i don't think runewire beta testers is a group group if you get what i mean, there's no rank for it.

But yeah, looks like it's got itself confused. XD

It doesn't pick up ranks which don't have a colour code. Distinguished Users and Beta Testers are the two I'm aware of. There may be others.

Yea groups are separate from ranks. You could be in a group but without a rank. Eg.) RuneWire Beta Testers and Distinguished Users.

The ranks and groups are a bit different than they are on the forums.

Ranks are retrieved from groups on the forums that have a rank image AND colour at the bottom of the forums.

Groups are the post count rankings, and the site staff one which is determined from what ranks the user is in. Although the site staff one is having some problems right now. Groups are not automatically retrieved from the forums right now like ranks are.

What is RuneWire?

RuneWire is a microblogging service aimed at Runescape players. RuneWire works for any type of Runescape player. Whether you are a maxed out character, pure, standard player, or someone who has just started out playing, our service will provide you an instant way to share information with others. Not only do we allow you to post what you are doing on Runescape at instantly, you can upload screenshots as well!

Our service also aims to let you track what your friends are doing on Runescape. By clicking on Friends Activity on the right hand navigation panel, you will be presented with everything that everyone on your friends list has been doing.

In closed beta currently I think, should be released to the public soon.

By the way, in the future it would be best if you made your own topic. ---- Ah, this is an old topic as well- Please don't post on topics that haven't been replied to in over 14 days. :P
Oh yeah, heres the RuneWire forum:
